Neneng, my mom's cat...that loves my dad more hahaha. She's weird..she loves dogs, stays in our yard, and cries when she can't get down from high places LOL.

My little sleepy girl..she found a new napping spot, where she can barely fit! hahaha

This was taken like right now..the single leg flop. Those are her favorite toys, the activity set..and her pillow pet which she grooms like it was a real cow.

Little Jingle Bell has settled in quite well..he loves his big bro Harry and loves all animals..I saw him watching a stray cat eat his food. Not one bark from the little guy..He's happy to have a home.

Harry the elf who won't let me take that shirt off because he loves it..and Jingle..trying to mess with the dog next door. You can see her poking her nose throught the fence haha

FINALLY!

Let me start out by saying that I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas full of cheer, love and great memories with the ones you love..

On another note..ahh yes, finally have time to type something out..sheesh!!!

Christmas these past 4 yrs have been bittersweet. Although it is by far my favorite holiday, the love of my life, a simple mutt of a dog named Charlie left me for the rainbow bridge Christmas morning 2008. My cousin picked him up as a stray and he was the most loving, AWESOME dog we have ever had. He pretty much rocked more than rocks which is pretty hard (BWHAA). I write this post with fond memories of him and his love of cheese slices.

Is it me or does Maddy have the same hair-do? haha

 

 

Fast forward to Christmas 2012. Leave it up to me to spot a small shivering dog in the rain laying down in the mud...and also leave it to me to almost get bit twice by this very scared dog LOL. Determined as I am, I ran back in the house, grabbed a towel and threw it over him and in the middle of the night quietly carried him inside where he ate, wagged his tail, and became too clingy to every human or animal in the house. SHEESH! Who's dog is he? How long was he out there? I made flyers yesterday and...BIG FAT GOOSE EGG. NADA...He's very well behaved and gets along well with cats and other dogs which is kind of odd especially if he was a stray all of his life? Hopefully somthing turns up..if not, he's mine. Next step is to take him to get scanned for a microchip but that seems like a long shot since he didn't have a collar or tags.

 

Please everyone, I present to you Christmas 2012 dog that my mom has named "Jingle"

 

 

I TOLD HER NOT TO NAME HIM! Now we're gonna get all attached and if his family does turn up then AHHH ok let's not get too ahead of ourselves. lol! What else can I tell you guys? OH ENOUGH OF DOGS..ON TO THE BUNNY IN MY LIFE!

 

 

Here's the thing about Maddy, at around 11PM every night she jumps on my bed and nosebonks me until I pet her. Of course I MUST do as she pleases and sometimes these sessions last for an hr! Also, at weird hours of the morning I often wake up to crazy noises..like fast running and the throwing of things around in my room. I finally witnessed what it was with my own eyes. MADDY, little miss grumpy, runs around like a small gazelle binkying all over the place and running around like crazy! I wouldn't have believed it, if i didn't see it. WOW! I'm so happy i can binky myself LOL!

 

Here's the proof! Yay!

 

 

 

Sadly, between work, trying to sleep, wedding planning, and being lazy..I don't know when I'll be able to post again! Let's hope I can make time soon. Until then all of my friends..Have  HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR! More new things to come from Maddy & Me in the future..Take care as always.

Just a quick post!

Hi everyone, just a quick update before I go to sleep as it is almost 12:30 am here and insomnia has struck. Everything is going well, just been busy working!!!

The evolution of a nickname..

what a cute baby!

...and it all started with the name Maddy. A little history on why I chose the name..Nine years ago, back when I was 17 and started dating Kayser he gave me the pet name of "Miss Maddy." I guess it pretty much explains itself. I was a teenager, hormonal, menstrual, crazy, and just plain MAD...ALL of the time hahaha. It's a mystery to me how the guy stayed with me for so long and is still willing to spend the rest of his life with me, he must be crazy too LOL. Anywhooo, the moment I set eyes on her, my world stopped and in hopped the most perfect little ball of fluff rabbit I have ever seen! I just had to love her! I gave her my heart and in turn she frowned upon me and gave me the ugliest stink eye I have ever seen..THAT is when I knew I found my very own Little Miss Maddy. Hahaha..

Now for the evolution part!!!! This is the progression of Maddy's nicknames...enjoy :)

Maddy turned into Madjie. Madjie turned into Madjie Madjer. Madjie Madjer turned into Chi-madjie. Chi-madjie turned into She-madjer. She-madjer turned into Shi-boo. Shi-boo turned into Shi-boom-boom. and Shi-boom-boom is where we are now..and it all ends with a song and dance!

Maddy doesn't really care for all the singing or dancing and normally glares at me, but she does come when called hahaha.

bad habits and naughty rabbits

The clinic I work at opens exactly at 5:00 am...I TRY my best to get there by 4:45 am to help my partner set up. Anyone in their right mind would go to bed early if they worked that early right?...but sadly, I am not in my right mind nor do I have a normal sleeping pattern..2 strikes already hahaha. The last 6 months have been interesting. I've noticed that I'm not the only one in the house who wakes up early. My little Maddy girl has picked up on ny schedule! once my alarm goes off at 3:00 am (snooze button pressed 10 times) I can expect her to hop up on my bed and nudge my left foot. After opening one sleepy eye I can see her glaring at me as she proceeds to jump all over my belly..what a cool way to start my day! hahaha..now, here she is:
