The evolution of a nickname..

what a cute baby!

...and it all started with the name Maddy. A little history on why I chose the name..Nine years ago, back when I was 17 and started dating Kayser he gave me the pet name of "Miss Maddy." I guess it pretty much explains itself. I was a teenager, hormonal, menstrual, crazy, and just plain MAD...ALL of the time hahaha. It's a mystery to me how the guy stayed with me for so long and is still willing to spend the rest of his life with me, he must be crazy too LOL. Anywhooo, the moment I set eyes on her, my world stopped and in hopped the most perfect little ball of fluff rabbit I have ever seen! I just had to love her! I gave her my heart and in turn she frowned upon me and gave me the ugliest stink eye I have ever seen..THAT is when I knew I found my very own Little Miss Maddy. Hahaha..

Now for the evolution part!!!! This is the progression of Maddy's nicknames...enjoy :)

Maddy turned into Madjie. Madjie turned into Madjie Madjer. Madjie Madjer turned into Chi-madjie. Chi-madjie turned into She-madjer. She-madjer turned into Shi-boo. Shi-boo turned into Shi-boom-boom. and Shi-boom-boom is where we are now..and it all ends with a song and dance!

Shi-boom shi-boom (RAMA-LAMA-LAMA-LA) *claps hands*

Maddy doesn't really care for all the singing or dancing and normally glares at me, but she does come when called hahaha.

So my question today for those reading this is : What are some of your buns nicknames? Is there a progression or reasoning? Take care everyone, until next time.

  2. I hardly ever call Umbra by her actuall name. I generally call her names like pooper or turd but (just because I'm a jerk like that). For a while I called her chika, which turned into chucka and then chu and then just ch (or chchch, I think it sounds like her chewing). For a while before she was spayed I called her smoochy bunny because she was obsessed with giving kisses. My room mate used to call her conesita (which is spanish for little rabbit, rabbit is conejo)

  3. I call Meany my Evil Bitch Bunny, Girl Bunny, Pretty Girl Bunny, but she responds to Girl Bunny.
I call Fatty my Beautiful Baby Boy, my Handsome Bunny Wunneh.
I call Minnie my Tskinny Minnie Min. Yes, that first word starts with a 'T', like Tsetse fly.
Collectively they are Dem Pretteh Bunneh Wunnehs. Or just Dem Wunnehs. And when I shake a container of treats, they come running and when I say "here bunnehbunnehbunbunbunbuneh

  4. Haha! Their nicknames don't really evolve... I called Moshi just about anything... Bun Bun, Bunnykins, Destructo-bun...
Jamili is my Baby Bun ('cause she's so WITTLE) and Ashy is Mr. Rabbit or Mr. Bunny. Ashy is a stinky bun, literally. So I call him Stinker. He also loves nose bunking you or anything out of the way, so he's also known as Bunky Bun.

My boyfriend is the one who gives the buns most of their nicknames. Somehow Moshi was Sheep (don't ask... I can't give you an answer. To this day, my bf sees as sheep and he goes, "MOSHI!") Jamili is Black Bean, just Bean, Little Bean, Jumping Bean, and more recently, Little Bear. Don't know where the bear thing came from. Again, don't ask. The guy sees things differently.

We give the buns nicknames according to their poses or current behaviors... They're explora-buns, carpet buns (stretched, out flat), etc...

Collectively, they're Tonejos (baby talk in Spanish for conejos)
